Description
Some coffees shine.
Others embrace.
Cedepa is the comfort of long conversations and warm evenings in a single cup. The profile opens with the sweetness of chocolate cookies and toasted almond, rich and inviting. It feels familiar from the first sip, grounded and steady.
As the cup develops, silky notes of refined marzipan take the lead. There is depth here, but it is soft depth. A gentle bitterness of walnut skin appears in the finish, subtle and elegant, adding structure without harshness.
The texture is smooth and rounded, coating the palate with warmth. This is not a coffee that demands attention. It holds it quietly.
This lot comes from Finca El Naranjo, founded in 1915. The farm operates under a matriarchal model and is owned by two sisters, Amada and María Aída Milla. Management is shared among family members, preserving both heritage and quality.
Their cherries are sold to Cuatro M, led by Emilio López, who also produces the well known La Cumbre.
Cedepa is refined, nutty and chocolate driven. A coffee for slower moments and deeper conversations.
